  • Challenges Conforming & Complying: Soul seekers are also what we call ‘divergent ones’ (this does not necessarily mean neurodivergent, though they can be that too) because in so many ways they diverge from the modern mainstream ways of seeing, thinking and feeling. This means they often experience great challenges conforming to the status quo, feeling like they can’t or are just unwilling to relinquish their freedom to fit in with the controlling conditioning, demands, and values of this culture. 

  • The Search & Actualisation of Their Soul’s Purpose: Perhaps the clearest sign of a soul seeker is the undeniable sense that they came here to be of deep service, even if they’re not yet clear how. Whilst they may feel the understandable pull to attend to usual aspects of life such as their relationships or raising children, they can’t dismiss the call of their soul to something that lies beyond that, however difficult, disruptive or unwelcome that feels.

  • Overwhelming Sensitivity & Empathy: Divergent soul seekers often possess heightened sensitivity to the emotions and energies around them, making them attuned to subtle nuances in their environment, which can feel overwhelming, even unbearable at times.

  • Struggling with this Crazy Modern World: Soul seekers often struggle with the incessant intensity of the shallow, fast-paced, productivity-focused, consumption-orientated, technology-driven way of living in today’s world, yearning for the deeper, slower-paced, nature-based, soulful way of life that humans evolved with.

  • Shamanic Sickness: Some soul seekers may experience an intense openness to spiritual energies. This heightened awareness may manifest in extreme physical, mental or emotional challenges, serving as a sign of the spirits initiating and calling them. This can be terrifying when it’s not understood and there’s a lack of guidance to move through it.

  • Feeling Lonely & Misunderstood: Due to their unique perspectives and depth of insight, divergent ones experience difficulties in forming connections with the people around them who are unable to understand their profound worldview, resulting in a sense of isolation and a lack of belonging to the like-minded, like-souled community they know they’re here for.

  • A Lack of Role Models & Mentors: Culturally, there are very few models of the mature roles and ancient archetypes that soul seekers have come here to live out, and a dire lack of mentors, elders, and teachers who can guide them in the deep alchemical work of actualising union with their unique soul.

Which is why we created UNIO...


We created UNIO, The Community for Soul Seekers, because nothing else exists to meet the particular challenges that old souls face in this new world.

The word 'Unio' is from Latin and means union, oneness, and unity.

It is the perfect name for our community because our work is all in service of union... Sacred Union of all kinds, including between Masculine and Feminine, with other people, with our own souls, and with Spirit.

UNIO is a soulful community, an ancient mystery school, a temple space, a magic school, and a sacred place where truth is discovered, where the challenges of the modern world can be met with a courageous heart, where you can find your soul kin, and be guided by experienced mentors and teachers into the alchemical inner work of Sacred Union.

We will journey deeply on the Wild Sovereign Soul Path which alchemises ancient ways for modern days, including mythical archetypes, shadow work, alchemy, embodiment, ascension spirituality, shamanic and nature-based practices, and more… Focusing on teachings, rituals, ceremonies, and initiations that activate, illuminate, heal, and ultimately create union with soul and spirit.

Paying what you can truly afford also supports and respects the work of people, like us and our team members, who have families to support and bills to pay, plus it means we are able to create more free, lower cost, and subsidised offerings for those who really need them.

FAQS:

Q: What timezones will the circles work for? 

A: Many of our community are in the US or Australia, two timezones that don’t play nicely! For this reason, we will be alternating the times for the calls each month so you will always be able to join at least one of them live, wherever in the world you are (and then catch up with the replay for any that you can’t make live.)

Q: I would love more support, is that available?

A: Yes, we offer 1:1 soul guidance, shamanic healings, soul quests, and much more. You can discover more here.

Q: When are the monthly ceremonies and circles?

A: Typically, each month there will be one call at 11am Thursday and the other at 3pm Tuesday, though these times might sometimes vary, plus there will be additional opportunities to join us outside of these times. (Times are UK).

Replays will be available for any calls you can’t make live.

Q: How long are the calls?

Typically an hour, though we’d recommend leaving a little longer if possible, as we’ll be led by Spirit as to when we need to go for longer to meet the people present (you know us!), plus some integration time for you afterwards would be wonderful, if possible.

Q: Will I need to share in circle?

No, the circles aren’t intended to be sharing circles, like you may have experienced in previous crucibles with us, though there may be opportunities to share and ask questions at times if you choose.
